A British mother may lose custody of her overweight son (Connor McCreaddie) on the basis of child neglect allegations. In February of 2007, British authorities were weighing in, no pun intended, on whether or not to take an eight year old boy into protective custody due to his obese condition. This is the latest front page story in a growing public concern over the obesity epidemic in children. Are parent(s) to blame? Could this be you in the future? Is your child overweight?
